PETER GREENWOOD
Peter Greenwood is a British mixed-media artist. Having lived and worked in London for many years and travelled around the world, he now resides on the South Coast in Dorset.
Peter first became fascinated with colour and painting through the medium of watercolour, enjoying the clarity and graining effects it provided. He now works in mixed-media, using acrylic paints and inks to achieve clarity and luminosity, and collage to accentuate structures.
He works from subjects found on his travels, with a focus on the effects of light on town and cityscapes, urban and rural. Where possible he includes impressions of the human form and self portraits, both to enhance perspectives and to bring the works to life.
